Invitation – Expert Talk at OPEN DOORS ENGADIN

As a partner of the Open Doors Engadin festival, SWISS ENGINEERS Int. is pleased to invite our members and friends to a special evening event (in German): “Open Doors Engadin – Experten im Gespräch.” The discussion will focus on the architectural competition for the new Boval Hut, for which 69 design proposals were submitted.

Using this remarkable case study, experts will discuss how architectural competitions work in practice — from the evaluation process and jury deliberations to the criteria that ultimately led to the winning project. The event offers valuable insights into how such competitions contribute to the quality of architecture and building culture in Switzerland.

The conversation will feature:
• Ivo Bösch (moderator, Hochparterre Wettbewerbe)
• Sjoerd Zonderland, architect and winner of the Boval Hut competition
• Geni Suter, head of the Boval working group during the competition
